HORWEEN – PIONEER REINDEER
Pioneer Reindeer, also referred to as Hatch Grain in the marketplace, is a combination tanned leather with a full vegetable re-tan; well nourished with a rich proprietary blended oil emulsion. Pioneer Reindeer is commonly finished by incorporating our Box Board Print (Hatch Grain) into the leather and aniline dyes are used to provide tonality between the tips and base of the print.
Pioneer Reindeer has been used in applications where the leather can be finished to create an antiqued look in the final product.

By “handmade” I really mean each and every single stitch is sewn by hand including the upper, each and every single hole of various sizes is punched by hand.
